Job summary

Marina Bay Sands is seeking a Finance professional in Singapore to handle monthly journals and variance analysis, budgeting, and monthly financial reporting. You will work with business units to address operational and capex matters, and assist in inter-department transactions.

The role requires a degree in Finance/Accounting with 3–5 years of experience, preferably with auditing exposure. Strong Excel skills, detail orientation, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment are

• Prepare monthly journals and schedules for review.
• Analyze monthly PL variance commentary.
• Forecast and budget tenant recovery and expenses.
• Assist in monthly financial reporting to management.
• Coordinate with business units on operations and capex matters.
• Support inter-department/inter-company transactions and audits.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journals and schedules for review, including preparation of monthly accounting entries
• Prepare and analysis of monthly PL variance commentary
• Prepare tenant recovery and expenses forecasting and budgeting
• Assist/perform in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reporting to management
• Work closely with business units to follow up on any operational and capex matter
• Work closely with other departments to follow up on any inter-department/ inter-companies transactions
• Assist weekly audit and review SOP
• Any other ad hoc tasks

Job Requirements

• Degree in Finance/Accounting, with minimum 3-5 years of experience
• Preferably with auditing experience
• Team player with high integrity and sense of urgency
• Possess strong project management skills and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly in Microsoft Excel
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy on work deliverables
