Job summary

Gourmet Supplies Pte Ltd is seeking a meticulous Senior Accountant to own day-to-day accounting operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide timely financial insights to support growth in Singapore. The role covers closing, reporting, cash management, and governance while collaborating closely with management.

You will lead the preparation of financial statements for audits, handle GST and corporate tax filings, and help implement robust internal controls and SOPs across the team.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Accountancy/Finance, ACCA or its equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in finance operations.
• Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet and accounting software.
• Proven ability to work independently, multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong eye for accuracy with a methodical approach to numbers.

Responsibilities

• Financial Closing & Reporting: Ensure timely closing of a full set of accounts (across AR, AP and GL), including preparation of schedules, bank reconciliations and management reports on a monthly basis.
• Cash Management: Monitor daily cash balances, track cash flow inflows and outflows, and ensure bank transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Audit & Tax Management: Be involved in the preparation of financial statements for audit and handling of tax matters (Singapore GST and Corporate Tax filings).
• Compliance & Governance: Assist management in establishing the company’s internal controls and finance policies. This includes documenting current workflows, drafting standard operating procedures (SOPs), and helping implement these new guidelines across the team.
• Business Support: Execute ad-hoc assignments and projects to support management decision-making as required.

In this role, you will take full ownership of our day-to-day accounting operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide accurate financial insights to support business growth.
