ACHIEVE CAREER CONSULTANT PTE LTD is seeking an Accountant to support its finance operations across multiple entities. The role focuses on WIP, project cost monitoring, financial reporting and intercompany transactions within the construction sector.

You will manage day-to-day accounting, assist with group consolidation and audits, and work with ERP systems to maintain accurate records. Applicants should have 3–5 years of relevant experience and a diploma or degree in accounting or finance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in construction or project accounting preferred.
• Familiarity with WIP, project cost monitoring and multi-entity accounting.
• Proficient in Excel; familiarity with Yardi, Cognos or SAP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP/AR, intercompany, bank reconciliations and month-end closing.
• Monitor project costs, WIP and project financial performance.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, audit schedules and reconciliations.
• Assist with group and JV consolidation, including consolidation schedules and intercompany eliminations.
• Coordinate statutory audits, GST and corporate tax matters with external auditors.
• Support cash flow monitoring, treasury activities, budgeting and forecasting.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with Company Secretary on corporate filings and entity-related documentation.

Our client, an established main contractor, is looking for a Accountant to support its finance operations across multiple entities. This role is suitable for accounting professionals with experience in construction or project accounting, particularly Work-in-Progress (WIP), project cost monitoring and financial reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, intercompany transactions, bank reconciliations and month-end closing.
• Monitor project costs, Work-in-Progress (WIP) and project financial performance.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, audit schedules and relevant accounting reconciliations.
• Assist with group and joint venture consolidation, including consolidation schedules and intercompany eliminations.
• Coordinate statutory audits, GST and corporate tax matters with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Support cash flow monitoring, treasury activities, budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with the Company Secretary on corporate filings and entity-related documentation.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Approximately 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in construction, main contracting or project accounting is preferred.
• Familiarity with WIP, project cost monitoring and multi-entity accounting.
• Knowledge of group consolidation and financial reporting will be an advantage.
• Proficient in accounting systems and Excel; experience with Yardi, Cognos or SAP is advantageous.
• Meticulous, organised and able to manage deadlines across multiple entities.

• Working hours: 5 Days
• Salary: up to S$5,500 and Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
