PEOPLE PROFILERS (SERVICES) PTE. LTD. is hiring an experienced finance professional to manage monthly closing, treasury, budgeting and tax for a hospitality group near Raffles Place. The role requires attention to timelines and internal controls.

You will liaise with auditors, prepare GST/WHT filings, ECI, and group tax computations, and support system improvements, with a five-day workweek in Singapore. This position offers a supportive team and opportunities for process enhancements.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with at least 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within the hospitality industry.
• Experience with Cognos and/or NetSuite preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel is essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete the full set of entity closing, including preparation of journal entries, agreeing intercompany balances, and reviewing management accounts within group timelines.
• Update audit schedules on a monthly basis.
• Prepare, investigate and clear bank reconciliation items.
• Prepare notices related to interest and loan repayments.
• Prepare documentation related to bank signatories and bank mandate updates.
• Support the rolling forecast and budget process, including preparation and submission of budget and forecast figures.
• Liaise with auditors and complete year-end audits for subsidiaries.
• Support the group audit process and meet group deadlines.
• Prepare GST/WHT filings and ECIs, and liaise with tax agents to meet deadlines.
• Support system implementation and process improvement initiatives.
• Undertake other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

Job Summary

• Budget $4.5k-$5K plus Variable Bonus

Key Responsibilities

Monthly Closing & Financial Reporting

• Complete the full set of entity closing, including preparation of journal entries, agreeing intercompany balances, and reviewing management accounts within group timelines
• Update audit schedules on a monthly basis
• Prepare, investigate and clear bank reconciliation items

Treasury Function

• Prepare notices related to interest and loan repayments
• Prepare documentation related to bank signatories and bank mandate updates

Budget & Forecast

• Support the rolling forecast and budget process, including preparation and submission of budget and forecast figures

Year-End Audit

• Liaise with auditors and complete year-end audits for subsidiaries
• Support the group audit process and meet group deadlines

Tax Matters

• Prepare GST/WHT filings
• Prepare and submit ECI and final tax computations
• Liaise with tax agents to ensure submission deadlines are met

Other

• Support system implementation and process improvement initiatives
• Undertake other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management
