Job summary

S-COM SYSTEM (S) PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an experienced finance professional to lead monthly, quarterly and year-end closings of consolidated accounts and ensure GST submissions are accurate. The role involves cash flow management, coordinating with auditors and tax agents, and handling group tax planning along with other duties.

The ideal candidate holds a CA qualification, a degree in a related field, and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with strong MS Office and accounting software

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Accountancy/Commerce/Finance.
• Chartered Accountant designation.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and year-end closing of consolidated accounts.
• Responsible for monthly GST submission.
• Assist in managing of company’s cash flow.
• Liaise with internal & external auditors, resolve audit and accounting issues.
• Liaise with tax agents on tax issues, annual submissions and Group’s tax planning.
• Liaise with external parties including bankers, secretary, etc.
• Ad hoc tasks delegated from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Degree in Accountancy/Commerce/Finance or equivalent
• Chartered Accountant
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Excellent team player, meticulous, and highly attentive to details
• Able to work effectively work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Experience with any computerised accounting software and proficient in MS Office
• Positive working attitude
• Have initiative, strong sense of responsibility and time management
