Job summary

Nutrition Asia Group is seeking an Accountant to join our finance team in a full-time role based in Clarke Quay Central Region. You will maintain general ledger, manage AP/AR, and prepare financial statements and management reports in line with IFRS/GAAP.

The ideal candidate has ACCA/CA or equivalent, solid experience in accounting, and strong Excel skills. Multi-entity experience and attention to detail are highly valued for accurate reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CA, or equivalent degree.
• Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting.
• Strong proficiency with accounting software (Netsuite/ERP) and Excel.
• Solid understanding of IFRS or local GAAP.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process improvements.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues at all levels.
• Proficiency in data entry with a commitment to maintaining accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Experience with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Knowledge of internal controls and compliance requirements is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and maintaining general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and classified
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice verification, payment processing, and reconciliation
• Conducting monthly, quarterly, and annual bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and management accounts in compliance with relevant accounting standards
• Performing journal entries and adjusting entries to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Supporting the audit process by preparing documentation and schedules as required
• Maintaining financial records and ensuring proper filing and documentation systems are adhered to
• Identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial data and investigating variances
• Supporting tax compliance activities and preparing necessary tax documentation
• Collaborating with other departments to gather financial information and resolve queries

What we're looking for
