Job summary

Fueling Maritime (Asia) Pte. Ltd. seeks a detail-oriented Accountant to manage accounting activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support month-end close within a regional APAC finance team.

You will work with cross-functional and regional stakeholders, handle tax matters including GST, and contribute to process improvements and finance transformation projects. Strong Excel and ERP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of working experience as an Accountant in a multinational or shared service environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics or similar).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger accounting and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
• Prepare financial reports and analyses for management review.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
• Assist with external and internal audits.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Handle and manage company tax matters.
• Prepare and submit GST returns and reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and finance transformation projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and regional stakeholders.
• Assist with any special projects/assignments/any other ad hoc duties

About the role
