Job summary

Changi Travel Services is seeking a detail-oriented Record-to-Report (R2R) Accountant to manage end-to-end closing, reporting, and compliance in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

You will drive month-end closures, prepare management packs, and ensure accuracy of financial statements while upholding internal controls and supporting statutory filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• At least 5 years of R2R or GL accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, complex formulas).
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end month-end closing for GL, bank reconciliation, fixed assets, inventory and balance sheet schedules.
• Prepare monthly management reporting packs and provide variance commentary.
• Coordinate GST/tax compliance and prepare full sets of FS per accounting standards.
• Act as main liaison for internal and external auditors and strengthen controls.
• Identify and implement process improvements in accounting workflows.
• Support ad-hoc management requests as needed.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Record-to-Report (R2R) Accountant to manage our end-to-end financial closing, reporting, and compliance processes. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy of our financial records, drive timely month-end closures, and deliver actionable management insights. This position bridges core transactional accounting with strategic financial analysis, auditing, and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Closing & Core Accounting: Execute end-to-end month-end closing for General ledger functions, bank reconciliation, fixed asset, inventory reconciliation and maintain balance sheet schedules to ensure data accuracy.
• Management Reporting & Analysis - Prepare monthly management reporting packs, investigate variances and provide commentary on cost and revenue drivers.
• Tax & Statutory Compliance - Preparation of GST, tax computation, coordinate annual tax filings and prepare full sets of Financial Statements (FS) according to relevant accounting standards.
• Audit & Internal Controls - Act as the main point of contact for internal and external auditors.
• Strengthen internal controls and streamline accounting workflows.
• Any Ad-hoc as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in R2R or general ledger accounting, ideally with Hospitality preferred
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Business Central (equivalent) preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, complex formula).
• Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and present financial data clearly
