Job summary

BGI MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the portfolio's accounting, tax, audit and statutory compliance matters.

The role focuses on reviewing, adjusting and finalising accounts, year-end closing, tax filings and liaising with auditors and authorities to ensure timely compliance. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams, ensuring accurate financial statements and timely reporting in a dynamic F&B environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree/LCCI or equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Able to handle full set accounts independently.
• Good knowledge of Singapore accounting, tax and statutory requirements.
• Familiar with IRAS, ECI, Corporate Income Tax and ACRA matters.
• Experiences in statutory audit and preparation of Financial Statements.
• Experiences in handling of multiple companies is an advantage.
• F&B /food industry experience is an advantage.
• Good Excel and accounting software skills (QuickBooks).

Responsibilities

• Review bookkeeping entries and make necessary accounting adjustments.
• Handle full set accounts, reconciliations and month/year-end closing.
• Prepare Financial Statements and supporting schedules.
• Prepare ECI, Corporate Income Tax Computations and tax filings.
• Handle IRAS notices, queries and tax-related matters.
• Coordinate with external auditors and attend to audit queries.
• Review audit schedules, Financial Statements and audit adjustments.
• Handle GST matters where applicable.
• Review intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Monitor accounting, tax, audit and statutory filing deadlines.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, banks and government authorities.
• Review F&B sales, purchases, expenses and other operational accounting records where required.
• Assist management with accounting, financial and compliance matters.
