Job summary

sggovterp in Singapore's School of Business & Accountancy is seeking a Lecturer, Accountancy on a 2-year contract to develop and deliver curriculum (including online courses) and assess students. You will supervise student projects, mentor learners, provide career guidance, and collaborate on industry projects.

You will also undertake academic administration, outreach activities, and manage collaborative initiatives with industry partners, while planning and leading industry projects.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ relevant industry experience.
• Prior teaching experience (part-time or full-time) will be an advantage.
• Ability to use innovative teaching strategies to motivate learners.
• Experience with AI, analytics, automation/RPA, cloud accounting and/or sustainability or climate accounting/reporting is desirable.
• Ability to teach intermediate/advanced financial accounting or taxation an advantage.
• Ability to plan, develop and teach accounting modules and manage collaborations with industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver curriculum (including online courses) and assessments for full-time and part-time courses.
• Supervise student projects and internships with industry partners.
• Counsel and mentor students, provide education and career guidance, and coach for competitions.
• Undertake academic administration, committee work, and support outreach activities and study trips.
• Plan, lead, manage and develop industry projects.
