Job summary

Republic Polytechnic seeks an enthusiastic Lecturer for the School of Business to educate future-ready graduates through authentic, learner-centred education and close industry collaboration. You will design and deliver industry-relevant curricula and mentor students in academic and career development.

The role involves teaching in Accounting, Audit, Taxation, ESG, AI in accounting, and governance topics, with opportunities to lead curriculum innovation and partnerships with industry.

Qualifications

• Accounting qualifications required; postgraduate qualification an advantage.
• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience in accounting, audit, taxation, sustainability reporting, risk management, or regulatory compliance.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA Singapore, ICAEW, CPA Australia or equivalents are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging, learner-centred education using Republic Polytechnic's PBL pedagogy and other learner-centred approaches.
• Contribute to programme development, quality assurance, academic administration, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the student learning experience.
• Design, develop, review, and deliver industry-relevant curricula for the accounting profession.
• Build and sustain partnerships with industry to support curriculum innovation, student internships, and capability development.
• Mentor students in academic, career and personal development, including coaching student teams and overseeing internships and projects.
• Teach and contribute to areas such as Financial and Management Accounting, Audit & Assurance, Taxation, ESG & Sustainability Reporting, AI & Digital Technologies in Accounting, Risk and Governance, and Business Law.
