Job summary

Bank of Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented professional for Account Documentation Review within its onboarding team. You will review opening documents and KYC materials, coordinate with Relationship Managers, and ensure data accuracy in the onboarding system.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Compliance and a proactive approach to risk controls, aiming to meet regulatory standards and timely client onboarding across OCBC Group networks.

Qualifications

• Similar experience in private banking or retail banking.
• Candidates with minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar capacity and who has displayed keenness in developing a career in Account Documentation Review.
• Meticulous and detail oriented.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work effectively as part of the team.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Review Account Opening documentation ensuring completeness, including supporting KYC / Constitutional documents as needed for complex openings.
• Collaborate with Relationship Manager/Assistant Relationship Manager to identify deficient documentation and support follow-ups with clients.
• Update data from source documents into the Bank’s Client Onboarding System.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding documentation to ensure timely submission of account opening documents.
• Work with Compliance to ensure policies and processes align with regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to implementing a controls framework by identifying risk areas and coordinating with RTB teams to refine processes.
