Key Responsibilities
Account and Client Management
  • Lead day-to-day account management, providing proactive counsel and building trusted client relationships.
  • Manage account plans, deliverables, budgets, timelines, and team resources to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Understand clients' business priorities and translate them into effective communications strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and expand existing accounts.
Corporate Communications and Media Relations
  • Develop and execute corporate communications strategies, with a focus on executive profiling, thought leadership, and corporate reputation.
  • Build relationships with business journalists and key media outlets, including leading business publications and broadcasters such as CNBC.
  • Develop messaging, media briefs, executive talking points, and spokesperson briefing materials.
  • Monitor business news, industry data, market developments, and competitor activity to identify media opportunities and provide strategic counsel.
Crisis and Issues Management
  • Support crisis communications planning and manage emerging reputational issues.
  • Prepare holding statements, Q&As, key messages, and executive briefs for sensitive situations.
  • Support media training and spokesperson preparation for challenging interviews and high-pressure engagements.
Regional Expertise and Business Growth
  • Maintain an understanding of Singapore's business and media landscape, with awareness of wider Southeast Asian markets, policy developments, and industry trends.
  • Contribute to proposals, pitches, and new business opportunities while identifying opportunities to grow existing client accounts.
  • Develop case studies and share industry insights to strengthen the team's expertise and client offering.
Team Leadership
  • Guide and support junior team members, providing clear direction and constructive feedback.
  • Coordinate resources, collaborate across teams, and contribute to a strong, knowledge-sharing culture.
  • Take initiative, manage competing priorities, and help drive the team's growth and development.
Requirements
  • 4–6 years of experience in public relations or corporate communications, preferably in an agency environment.
  • Experience in account management, corporate communications, executive profiling, or business media relations.
  • Strong understanding of the Singapore media landscape; regional Southeast Asian experience is an advantage.
  • Commercially minded, with a genuine interest in business news, financial developments, industry data, and broader market trends.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in crisis communications, issues management, or media training is an advantage.
  • Exposure to hospitality, technology, cybersecurity, or other corporate-focused sectors is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills, sound judgement, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership, work collaboratively, and support junior team members.
