Job summary

Decantas Asia Limited is seeking an Account Executive / Senior Account Executive to support integrated communications programmes for global financial services and corporate clients in Singapore and across the region. You will work with account leads to contribute to media monitoring, press materials, thought leadership content, and event logistics.

You will develop strong writing, media relations, investor relations and client service skills in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications or related field is advantageous
• 2–3 years of experience in communications or PR preferred
• Excellent written and verbal English; Chinese language skills are a plus
• Ability to draft press releases, media pitches and thought leadership content
• Experience in media monitoring and event logistics

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day delivery of communications programmes for financial services, listed and corporate clients, working with account leads and senior team members
• Draft and translate press releases, media pitches, briefing documents, executive talking points, thought leadership content, social media copy, presentation slides and other client materials
• Conduct daily news monitoring, media tracking, market research and competitor analysis, and prepare updates for clients and internal teams
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists and other media contacts, support proactive pitching, and coordinate interview opportunities and media enquiries
• Assist with the preparation and execution of corporate announcements, media briefings, press conferences, roundtables and other client events
• Coordinate project timelines, meeting materials, status reports, media lists and follow-up actions to ensure timely delivery
• Contribute ideas for media angles and campaigns while developing understanding of clients' businesses and communications objectives

Account Executive/ Senior Account Executive

As an Account Executive / Senior Account Executive, you will support the delivery of integrated communications programmes for global financial services and corporate clients in Singapore and across the region. Working closely with account leads and senior team members, you will contribute to media monitoring and relations, the production of communications materials, thought leadership initiatives and event logistics, while helping to coordinate day-to-day client work. This role offers hands‑on exposure to a broad range of communications assignments and is well suited to a proactive, detail-oriented individual who is eager to develop strong writing, media relations, investor relations and client service skills in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

Key responsibilities

Support the day-to-day delivery of communications programmes for financial services, listed and corporate clients, working closely with account leads and senior team members.

Draft and translate press releases, media pitches, briefing documents, executive talking points, thought leadership content, social media copy, presentation slides and other client materials as appropriate.

Conduct daily news monitoring, media tracking, market research and competitor analysis, and prepare clear, timely updates for clients and internal teams.

Build and maintain relationships with journalists and other media contacts, support proactive pitching, and coordinate interview opportunities and media enquiries.

Assist with the preparation and execution of corporate announcements, media briefings, press conferences, roundtables and other client events.

Coordinate project timelines, meeting materials, status reports, media lists and follow‑up actions to ensure work is delivered accurately and on schedule.

Contribute ideas for media angles, thought leadership topics and integrated communications campaigns, while developing a strong understanding of clients' businesses, sectors and communications objectives.

About you

A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, business, finance or a related discipline is an advantage but not mandatory.

For the Senior Account Executive position, approximately 2-3 years of relevant experience in communications, corporate communications, financial communications, investor relations, journalism or a related field is preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to produce clear, accurate and engaging content.

Proficiency in Chinese would be an advantage.

Strong interest in financial markets, business news, corporate reputation and the media landscape; prior exposure to financial services or listed-company communications is advantageous but not essential.

Good research, organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and maintain close attention to detail.

A proactive, curious and collaborative mindset, with a willingness to learn, take ownership and contribute as part of a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with media monitoring, AI, social media or digital communications tools would be beneficial.
