Job summary

H/Advisors Klareco, an award-winning strategic communications consultancy in Asia, seeks an Associate Director to work across international brands and local names. You will provide strategic counsel, lead brainstorms, and drive new business initiatives while guiding peers and junior staff.

You will manage senior-level relationships, deliver high-quality client service, and contribute to agency initiatives, blending crisis stewardship with creative storytelling and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in communications or related industry, agency experience is a plus.
• Strong writing, research, editing, presentation, and client interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounts with minimal supervision, delivering high-quality client service.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, including at senior levels, and deputise for senior team members when needed.
• Supervise, mentor, and guide junior team members to ensure quality and consistency in client work.
• Provide strategic counsel to clients and team members, anticipating challenges and planning proactively.
• Develop and leverage media and stakeholder relationships, deliver strong media pitches and materials, and conduct insightful analysis.
• Support new business initiatives by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and researching for pitches and presentations.

About the Role

As Associate Director, you will work on a range of clients from international brands to local household names. A strategic thinker, calm in a crisis, and creative at heart, your role will stretch far beyond day-to-day client work as you support new business initiatives, take an active lead in providing counsel, running brainstorms and workshops, getting involved in agency initiatives, and passing on your expertise to your colleagues.

Qualifications

• 5 – 6 years of experience in communications or a related industry, with agency experience as an added advantage.

• Proven experience in producing first-rate communications and editorial content for multi-platform media, including traditional mainstream and digital platforms.
