Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to account teams delivering integrated PR and social media strategies across client accounts.

Job description

We are an advertising agency based in Singapore, looking for an Account Director with at least 8-9 years of experience in integrated content and/or communications background (e.g. social media, content, integrated PR & communications, production or events), preferably in an agency setting.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the management and delivery of integrated content and communications work by your account teams. You will oversee day-to-day client management to ensure alignment through all stages of the account and campaign lifecycles, as well as the growth and development of your junior team members.

Main responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and guidance to account teams that will be responsible for developing and executing integrated PR and social media communications strategies for a range of client accounts across sectors and scope (i.e. earned, owned, and paid media)
• Responsible for overseeing campaign planning and content development, media relations, community management, performance marketing, and social media analytics
• Be at the forefront of relationships with key clients to establish mutual partnerships, and act as their brand guardian; understand their needs and business challenges to propose strategies that will help achieve their business goals
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of account operations
• Outline and execute master agreements, client budgets, and financial invoicing relating to your accounts
• Oversee the day-to-day performance, as well as the overall growth and development of your team of Account Managers and Executives
• Ad-hoc involvement in new business pitching

Requirements for this role:

• Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, or other relevant disciplines; or relevant work experience
• At least 8-9 years of experience with social media management and/or PR/communications; prior agency experience will be a plus
• Understand content application across all major social media networks (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) and/or the local (earned) media scene
