Job summary

Study House Academy is seeking an Academic Content & Curriculum Developer for Primary, Secondary, and Junior College levels. The role focuses on creating exam-focused curriculum, worksheets, and digital notes aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus.

You will craft structured lesson plans, slides, and revision materials for online and in-centre delivery. The ideal candidate has strong academic background in English, Math or Science and can work across multiple levels with reliability and tight

Qualifications

• Confident in at least two subjects across levels (Primary/Secondary/JC).
• A-Level/Polytechnic/undergraduate with strong background in English, Math or Science.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Familiar with MOE syllabus and examination standards.
• Teaching experience in MOE schools or tuition centres preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Design structured lesson plans aligned with the MOE syllabus (or relevant international JC syllabus).
• Develop worksheets, practice papers, revision packs, and exam-style questions (PSLE/SEC/O-Level/A-Level).
• Create teaching slides and class materials for weekly tuition programmes.
• Develop high-quality digital notes for online distribution across social media channels.
• Ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency across Primary to JC materials.

We are looking for a structured, academically strong, and detail-oriented Curriculum Developer to join Study House Academy. This role involves developing high-quality tuition programme materials and online digital notes aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus, across Primary, Secondary, and Junior College levels.

The ideal candidate is confident in at least two subjects, spanning across levels (e.g. Primary and Secondary, or Secondary and JC), and can design structured, exam-focused curriculum that supports strong academic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Development (Tuition Programmes)

• Design structured lesson plans aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus (or relevant international curriculum for JC subjects)
• Develop worksheets, practice papers, topical revision packages, and exam-style questions (PSLE / SEC / O-Level / A-Level standard)
• Create teaching slides and class materials for weekly tuition programmes
• Incorporate higher-order thinking skills and exam techniques into lessons

Digital Content Development (Digital Educational Notes)

• Develop high-quality digital notes for online distribution across social media channels (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Telegram)
• Create topical summaries, model answer frameworks, and concept breakdown guides
• Build structured revision systems and assessment banks
• Ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency across all academic materials, from Primary through Junior College
• Support the development of signature programmes and academic frameworks

Requirements

• Confident in at least two subjects, spanning across levels (Primary, Secondary, and/or JC)
• A-Level graduate, Polytechnic graduate, or undergraduate with a strong academic background in English, Mathematics, or Science
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area preferred, but not required
• Strong familiarity with the Singapore MOE syllabus and examination standards (Cambridge/A-Level standards for JC subjects)
• Prior teaching experience in MOE schools or tuition centres preferred, but not essential — subject mastery and reliability matter most
• Strong understanding of PSLE, O-Level/SEC, and A-Level assessment formats (as relevant to your subject/level)
• Excellent academic writing and content structuring skills
• Detail-oriented with high content accuracy
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines

Engagement Details

• Part-time or freelance/project-based
• Flexible hours; minimum 3 months' commitment preferred
• Remote-friendly, with occasional in-person collaboration at our Alexandra Central Mall centre
• Compensation per project/content piece or hourly, depending on scope (discussed at interview)
• Compensation: SGD12.50/h (SGD10.50/h during 1st month probation)
