Job summary

InternSG is seeking a Part-time Science Curriculum Assistant in Singapore to curate and develop practical science content for Primary and Secondary levels. You will design labs, worksheets, and step-by-step guides, ensuring alignment with the MOE syllabus and EA formatting standards.

You will work with tutors and the academic team to refine materials, maintain a version-controlled content library, and flag gaps for improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Primary and Secondary Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
• Major in a Science-related discipline.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage large amounts of information.

Responsibilities

• Curate and develop practical and experimental content for Primary and Secondary Science.
• Design lab activities, worksheets, step-by-step instructions and answer guides.
• Ensure content maps to the latest MOE Secondary Science syllabus.
• Keep materials accurate and consistent across Physics, Chemistry & Biology.

• Keep the content library organised and version-controlled.
• Flag gaps and suggest improvements to strengthen the programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Curate and develop practical and experimental content for Primary and Secondary Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology)
• Design lab activities, worksheets, step-by-step instructions and answer guides
• Ensure all content is curated and formatted according to EA's teaching template
• Ensure all content maps to the latest Singapore MOE Secondary Science syllabus
• Keep materials accurate, current, and consistent across Physics, Chemistry & Biology

Support Lab Delivery

• Trial experiments before class use to confirm they run cleanly in a classroom setting
• Work with tutors and the academic team to refine content based on how it plays out in real lessons
• Keep the content library organised and version-controlled
• Flag gaps and suggest improvements to strengthen our practical programme

Working Hours

• Part-time, flexible hours

Job Requirements

• Strong attention to detail, and able to organise large amounts of information systematically
• Good written English
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines

Nice to Have

• Experience teaching or tutoring Secondary Science
• Familiarity with the Singapore MOE Science syllabus
• Experience preparing educational resources
