Job summary

NexWave Technologies Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Accountant for a 6-month contract to cover maternity leave in Singapore. You will handle day-to-day accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting, including project accounting and audit coordination.

You will review project P&L, monitor budgets against milestones, and assist in tender reviews and annual budgets. Collaboration with department heads and auditors is essential for timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in accounting/finance.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably project-based in engineering or construction.
• Experience in project accounting, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, AR/AP, cash flow and audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance and accounting functions.
• Prepare and submit monthly financial reports and quarterly SGX reporting with analysis.
• Review project P&L with Operations to identify variances and risks.
• Monitor budgets, costs and financial performance against milestones.
• Assist in tender reviews and project budgets for feasibility.
• Collaborate with department heads on budgets, forecasts and plans.
• Manage cash flow, AR and AP, and ensure receivables collection.
• Coordinate with Operations to ensure timely invoicing and collections.
• Review payments, invoices and other accounting transactions.
• Prepare schedules and liaise with auditors and tax agents.
• Maintain fixed asset records and conduct asset reconciliations.
• Provide guidance to junior accounting staff and management with insights.
