Job summary

RICH CONSTRUCTION COMPANY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Safety Officer to ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance across construction sites in Singapore.

You will support the WSH Officer, conduct inspections, lead toolbox talks, and help organize Safety Committee activities. The role requires an Advance Certificate in WSH, at least 2 years of relevant construction experience, and strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Experience with HDB/JTC or mixed-use developments is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH).
• Min. 2 years relevant experience in Building and Construction Industry.
• Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability.
• Ability to work under pressures in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in HDB/JTC/Building & Commercial/Mix Development advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all operations comply with WSH, Environmental Control regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Follow up on site walk inspection findings and assist in incident investigations.
• Conduct daily safety inspections; document checklists and lead weekly toolbox meetings.
• Coordinate with site personnel to improve safety standards and site cleanliness.
• Ensure supervisors and workers follow approved safe work procedures.
• Assist in organizing monthly Safety Committee meetings and safety reports.
• Maintain safety records and reports; track safety issues.
• Supervise workers to ensure safety measures are implemented; perform ad-hoc duties as required.
