Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Singapore is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate 5-axis CNC machines for aerospace manufacturing. The role requires reading blueprints, applying basic troubleshooting, and maintaining 6S standards. Training will be provided, with permanent night shift availability.

The candidate will work across cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with ethics and export regulations, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. RTX ethos applies to this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC in Precision/ Aerospace/ Mechanical Engineering.
• Training will be provided.
• Able to work permanent 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC (5 Axis) machines.
• Perform simple troubleshooting of machines.
• Read and follow established procedures and work instructions.
• Able to interpret basic blueprint if required.
• Assess risk of activities and take corrective actions.
• Maintain day to day 6S activities.
• Willing to work cross-functional areas.
• Comply with RTX Code of Ethics and Export regulations.
• Support EH&S, Quality & CORE activities.
• Involve in continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
