Job summary

UNITED PERSONNEL SERVICES is seeking a creative and technical 3D Architectural Lighting Designer to bridge architectural concept with lighting execution. You will build 3D models, run lighting simulations and produce photorealistic visualizations for interior and exterior projects.

The role requires 3 to 5 years of experience, strong software proficiency across AGI32, Relux, 3ds Max, Revit and more, and a solid understanding of light behavior, color temperature and energy standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Lighting Design or Electrical Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in architectural lighting design or 3D visualization.
• Software proficiency in AGI32, RELUX, 3dsMax and SketchUp.
• Experience with V-Ray/Corona, Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop/InDesign.
• Strong understanding of light behavior, color temperature, illuminance metrics and energy standards.
• Singaporean only apply.

• Collaboration: Work closely with architects, interior designers and electrical engineers to integrate lighting fixtures into building plans.
• Documentation: Produce luminaire schedules, lighting plots and visual presentation decks for client reviews.
• Fixture Selection: Choose appropriate luminaires and control systems that match the design intent and project budget.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Lighting Design or Electrical Engineering
• 3 to 5 years of experience in architectural lighting design or 3D visualization
• Software Proficiency:
  • Lighting tools (e.g. AGI32, RELUX)
  • 3D modeling and rendering (e.g., 3dsMax, SketchUp, V-Ray, Corona or Rhino)
  • BIM and drafting tools (Revit, AutoCAD)
  • Post-production (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign)
• Strong understanding of light behavior, color temperature, illuminance metrics (lux/footcandles) and energy efficiency standards
