Applied Materials is seeking a Manufacturing Technician in Singapore to perform hands‑on assembly, testing, and repair of complex equipment in a cleanroom environment. You will build, repair, and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, with responsibility for documentation and process improvements.

The role requires 1–2 years of semiconductor or display experience, the ability to follow SOPs, and familiarity with basic hand tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1–2 years semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry or military experience.
• Ability to follow standard operation procedures (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Use work orders and schematics to build, repair and test equipment (electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, components).
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repairs under moderate supervision.
• Receive parts and perform audits to ensure parts availability; inspect parts for defects; troubleshoot and improve processes.
• Use test fixtures and measurement equipment to test assemblies, subassemblies and components.
• Complete required job documentation and, if needed, perform computer programming or software installs.
