Job summary

A*STAR RESEARCH ENTITIES is seeking a Shift Duty Personnel to provide 24/7 operational support for wafer fabrication and cleanroom facilities. You will monitor, operate, and troubleshoot plant systems via FMCS, EMS, and other platforms, respond to alarms, and coordinate emergency responses to minimise downtime.

You will also perform first-level fault diagnosis, support preventive and corrective maintenance, and maintain shift logs while complying with safety regulations and permit-to-work

Qualifications

NITEC to Diploma in mechanical, electrical, facilities or related engineering.
3 years in facilities operations or semiconductor/manufacturing environments.
Familiar with BMS, HVAC, electrical distribution; able to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Monitor, operate, troubleshoot plant systems via FMCS, EMS and other platforms.
Respond to alarms, disruptions and equipment faults; diagnose and take recovery actions.
Escalate critical incidents and coordinate emergency response to minimise disruption.
Support preventive and corrective maintenance; isolate equipment, implement LOTO, reinstate systems and verify work completion.
Maintain accurate shift logs and operational records; ensure compliance with safety SOPs and permit-to-work requirements.
