Job summary

A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research is seeking a Shift Duty Personnel to join its facilities operations team. You will monitor and operate wafer fabrication and cleanroom support systems, respond to alarms and disruptions, perform first‑level fault diagnosis, and coordinate emergency response to minimise downtime.

Ideal candidates hold a NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities, Chemical or Process engineering with at least 3 years in facilities operations or

Qualifications

• NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities, Chemical, Process engineering or related.
• At least 3 years in facilities operations, engineering maintenance, semiconductor manufacturing, cleanroom environments, or industrial utility systems.
• Willingness to perform rotating shift work with strong troubleshooting, communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate plant systems via FMCS, EMS and other monitoring platforms.
• Respond to alarms, disruptions and faults; perform first-level fault diagnosis and recovery actions.
• Coordinate emergency response activities and maintain shift logs and safety records.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance including LOTO and system reinstatement.
