Job summary

UNITED OVERSEAS BANK LIMITED is seeking an IT Operations professional to ensure 24x7 system availability across Mainframe, AS/400, UNIX/Linux, and Windows. You will monitor platforms, manage batch jobs, handle incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain service continuity.

Requirements include a IT-related degree or diploma, 2+ years in IT operations, and strong English communication. Willingness to rotate 12-hour shifts in a Command Center environment is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• 2+ years of hands-on IT operations or Command Center experience.
• Familiarity with Mainframe, AS/400, UNIX/Linux, or Windows.

Responsibilities

• Real-time monitoring of system platforms, applications, ATM services and network infrastructure; escalate as per SOPs.
• Track and manage scheduled batch jobs and ensure timely execution per SLAs.
• Identify, elevate, and track incidents to support teams for prompt resolution.
• Conduct first-level diagnosis and resolve system and batch issues when possible.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application support teams during incidents and maintenance.
• Maintain operational logs, incident records, and shift handover docs for audits.
