Job summary

COMBUILDER PTE LTD seeks a Software System Engineer to support Day 2 operations, maintenance, and enhancements for IT projects in a 24/7 environment. You will ensure stability, reliability, security, and operational readiness of mission‑critical systems.

The role requires hands‑on experience with DevOps, container technologies, CI/CD, and production support. You will work with multiple teams across infrastructure, security, and development to drive reliable deployments and proactive improvements.

Qualifications

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software system engineering, DevOps engineering, production support, or related roles.
• Experience with enterprise or mission‑critical systems is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Day 2 operational support for mission‑critical applications and platform services.
• Perform incident investigation, RCA, and issue resolution.
• Support production deployment activities, rollback and post‑deployment verification.
• Monitor system health, performance, logs and alerts.
• Collaborate with Day 1, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and project teams.
• Support DR, business continuity, and standby/after-hours activities.
