Job summary

Yio Chu Kang PrimarySchool is seeking an ICT Trainer to implement and deliver the school's EdTech curriculum, covering digital literacy, computational thinking, and responsible digital citizenship.

The role involves designing STEM, coding, maker, and prototyping activities using AI, robotics, and digital media; guiding teachers on EdTech tools and creating engaging learning experiences for students.

Qualifications

• A Diploma, preferably in an IT-related discipline.
• At least two years of ICT-training experience in a school environment.
• Basic software programming and coding skills.
• Knowledge of EdTech integration, digital literacy, STEM, maker education and prototyping.
• Knowledge of AI, digital media, productivity and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and deliver the school's EdTech curriculum, covering digital literacy, computational thinking, problem-solving, 21st Century Competencies and responsible digital citizenship.
• Design STEM, coding, maker, design-thinking and prototyping activities using technologies such as AI, robotics and digital media.
• Collaborate with teachers on EdTech tools, technology-enhanced lessons and learning resources.
• Conduct InfoComm Club CCA training, digital media production, coding, innovation and technology enrichment programmes; evaluate effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Support ICT initiatives and events, coordinate digital learning activities, and manage and maintain ICT resources and equipment.
• Provide photography and videography for school events and milestones, and edit digital content for communication and publicity.
• Help staff troubleshoot basic ICT issues, use educational platforms and prepare digital teaching resources.
• Support CyberWellness initiatives, observe instructor conduct and safety expectations, and perform other duties assigned by the ICT Department or school leaders.

Job position: ICT Trainer

Salary range: 2800-3500

Name of Authority: Yio Chu Kang PrimarySchool

Contract Period: 1 January 2027 to 30December 2027.

Personnel to be deployed atthe following hours:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:30pm,inclusive of a one-hour lunch break.
• Fridays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of aone-hour lunch break.
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays andgazetted public holidays.

Requirements:

• A Diploma, preferably in an IT-relateddiscipline, is preferred.
