Job description

The Deutsche Bank Graduate Programme is a year-long comprehensive programme designed to provide you with exposure to a range of fascinating projects and ongoing professional and technical training to develop the skills you need to grow your career. You’ll feel supported by a network of peers and mentors and benefit from our global wellbeing programme.

About the division:

Working in markets around the world, our people make us strong. They are Deutsche Bank. Without Human Resources, we could never source, develop and retain the best talent, or apply the strategies that motivate their performance.

We have a key role in the delivery of a culture that aligns risks and rewards, attracts and develops talented individuals, fosters teamwork and partnership, and makes a positive contribution to the countries in which we operate.

Our people in Human Resources find and recruit the brightest talent. They develop their skills by providing them with structured, on-going training. They give every single member of our staff the chance to achieve their career goals and make their work exceptionally rewarding.

About the role:

Working on our day-to-day business or on challenging, business-critical projects, you will acquire a broad knowledge of different areas within your first year. You will participate in a number of rotations and your tasks will vary according to your precise role. You might be giving employee advice, facilitating workforce decisions or working on large-scale initiatives. You will learn from the best, evolve professionally as well as personally, and build a firm foundation upon which to specialise later.

Areas where you might work could include:

  • Talent & Development
  • Business Advisory
  • Performance & Reward
  • Talent Acquisition
What we look for:

We recruit students and graduates who are intelligent and adaptable with excellent communication skills. They need to have proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs. They have degrees in many different disciplines. Even though good levels of numeracy are important for some roles, you won’t necessarily need a formal mathematical or financial background. Our comprehensive training programmes will give you all the technical knowledge you’ll need to build a career with us.

To be eligible for the 2027 Graduate Programme you must:

  • Complete your studies (all final exams, coursework, and have no outstanding requirements for graduation) between 1st January 2026 and 31st July 2027.
  • Be able to start full time work in July 2027, subject to local working legislation and visa requirements
  • Possess no more than 12 months full-time, relevant work experience
Benefits and wellbeing:

Feeling healthy, engaged and well-supported, enables us to do our best work and get the most out of life outside of the office. That’s why Deutsche Bank is committed to providing benefits and programmes centred around wellbeing. Benefits & Wellbeing – Deutsche Bank Careers (db.com)
