Job summary

MAKINO ASIA PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a hands-on mechanical/electrical assembler on a 1-year contract (with potential extension). You will perform assembly tasks within standard time and ensure the machine meets quality standards.

You will also be responsible for recording operation times in the EES system for performance measurement, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to quality, EHS, and WIS procedures. The role requires reading drawings, overtime willingness, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in Assembly/Production is an added advantage.
• Able to read and interpret drawings.
• Willing to work shifts and overtime when required.
• Able to stand for long hours and handle physical work.
• Team player with initiative and commitment.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on mechanical/electrical assembly tasks within standard time.
• Ensure assembled machines meet Makino's quality standards.
• Record operation times into EES for performance measurement.
• Maintain housekeeping and keep work area clean and tidy.
• Follow Quality Policy, EHS procedures and WIS; calibrate tools and instruments.
