Job summary

PERSOL in Singapore is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler for a 12-month contract that is renewable. Location is Upper Changi Road. You will build, repair and test electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies according to schematics and instructions.

Shift options include Mon-Fri, Tue-Sat, or Sun-Thu with varied hours; night shifts offer an extra shift allowance. Safety training and strict adherence to procedures are required.

Qualifications

• Follows safety standards and maintains a safe work environment
• Performs electro-mechanical assembly operations and troubleshooting
• Uses test fixtures and electronic measurement equipment
• Records data on computer terminal (progress, labor details)
• Inspects parts for defects and assists in process improvements

Responsibilities

• Build, repair and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies and components using drawings and instructions
• Troubleshoot and correct errors in assemblies and subassemblies
• Observe safety policies, report hazards and follow health and safety training
• Test assemblies with fixtures, detectors, pumps and software installations when required
• Receive parts, perform audits, ensure availability of necessary parts for production
