Job summary

THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for our Woodlands office to manage cost estimation, budgeting, tendering and contract administration for underground utilities projects.

You will work with project managers and engineers to ensure financial control and cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or related field.

Responsibilities

• Cost estimation & budgeting for underground utilities projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare tender documents, evaluate submissions, and negotiate contracts.
• Monitor costs, provide forecasts, and report variations.
• Draft and manage contracts and subcontracts for underground utilities work.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and stakeholders to deliver projects.

Job description

Role: Quantity Surveyor

• Working days: Monday – Friday, 8.30 AM – 6 PM
• Office location: Woodlands
• Salary: Basic $4000 to $5000 + performance bonus

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in related field

Key Responsibilities

Cost Estimation & Budgeting

• Prepare precise cost estimates for underground utilities construction projects, considering materials, labor, and associated overheads.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial control and cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Tendering & Procurement

• Prepare and issue tender documents specific to underground utilities projects, analyze and evaluate tender submissions.
• Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes tailored to underground utilities construction needs.

Cost Control & Monitoring

• Monitor project costs and expenditures, providing regular financial reports and forecasts.
• Identify, manage, and report cost variations and claims, ensuring compliance with contractual terms.

Contract Administration

• Draft, review, and manage contracts and subcontracts related to underground utilities construction.
• Resolve contractual disputes and issues, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual requirements.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with project managers, engineers, utility companies, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.
• Provide expert advice on cost-related matters and project feasibility for underground utilities projects.
