Job summary

Maxhunt Resource Pte Ltd, on behalf of New Town Secondary School, seeks an ICT Trainer for the 2027 contract period. The role covers AV support for operations and events, photo/video capture, and multimedia production for the school website.

The candidate should have a Diploma in IT/Multimedia, at least 2 years in ICT training or related fields, and hands-on experience with video editing software and productivity tools. MOE instructor registration is required by the closing date.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Diploma in IT/Multimedia or related field.
• Minimum 2 years as ICT Trainer or similar.
• Minimum 2 years in photo and video production; specify video editing experience.
• Proficient in iOS platform, iPad, MS Office, iOS apps and Google Suite.
• Experience with AI tools and creating/maintaining websites is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide AV support for school operations and events.
• Support staff to maintain AV resources and inventory.
• Take photos and videos of school events and create multimedia for events and to maintain the website.
• Conduct Infocomm club weekly training.
• Provide ad-hoc training for staff and students in teaching software, multimedia and AV support.
• Ad-hoc duties assigned by HOD/ICT and School Leaders.

Position Details

Name of Authority: New Town Secondary School

Contract Period: From 2 Jan 2027 to 31 Dec 2027

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• -Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: 7.15am to 4.00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
• -Tuesdays (CCA day): 7.15am to 5.45pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
• -Fridays: 7.15am to 3.30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
• -Service may be required on weekdays in the afternoon and some weekends for official school events (staff will be compensated with time-off)
• -Timing subject to change based on school needs

Requirements

1. 1.Minimally a Diploma holder in an IT/Multimedia related field
2. 2.Minimum 2 years of experience as ICT Trainer or relevant experience in related field
3. 3.Minimum 2 years of experience in phototaking, video recording and multimedia production (please specify experience in the use of video editing software eg. Adobe, iMovie, Windows Movie Maker, Final Cut Pro,etc)
4. 4.Proficient in the following:
   • a.iOS platform and use of iPad
   • b.Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
   • c.IOS apps (Pages, Slides, Sheets, etc)
   • d.Google Suite
   • e.AI Tools
   • f.Creating, designing and maintaining website
5. 5.Must be registered with MOE as an instructor as of ITQ closing date.
