Job summary

West View Primary School in Singapore seeks qualified personnel to provide UPLIFT mentoring on attendance, motivation, behaviour and personal concerns. The role requires a Diploma and at least one year of experience with children/youth, with independent and team work expected.

Name of Authority: West View Primary School

Contract Period: 5 January 2027 to 19 November 2027.

Option period: An additional year in 2028; exact dates are not stated.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays: 8:00am to 1:30pm; Wednesdays and Fridays: 11:30am to 5:00pm. Each day includes a 30-minute lunch break.
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays or school holidays.
• School holiday exclusions stated in the tender: 15–19 March, 31 May–25 June and 6–10 September 2027.
• Other excluded dates stated in the tender: 5 and 9 February, 12 July, 10 August, 3 and 17 September, and 18–20 October 2027.

Requirements

• Diploma qualification and at least one year of experience engaging, supporting or managing children/youth.

• Liaise with parents and other stakeholders and participate in team case meetings.
• Maintain confidential attendance, progress and case records; prepare reports, raise concerns and provide feedback.
• Perform other related assigned duties.
