Job summary

Name of Authority: Hua Yi Secondary School

Contract Period: 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:30pm; Wednesdays: 9:00am to 6:30pm; Fridays: 7:00am to 4:00pm. Each day includes a one-hour lunch break.
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

Requirements:

• ITE or diploma qualification in IT or a related discipline, with relevant professional certifications.
• Knowledge and ability to teach Apple hardware/iPad personal learning devices; Thunkable and GameSalad; Tinkercad and SketchUp; Scratch, micro:bit, MakeCode Arcade and Swift Playgrounds.
• Competence in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Adobe Photoshop/Premiere Pro, Padlet and Classkick; gamification, AR/VR and Reality Composer; AV systems, OBS broadcasting and makerspace tools.

Job Scopes:

The Services required are set out as follows:

1. Develop and deliver structured InfoComm Club programmes in coding, app creation, 3D design and graphics using tools such as Inkscape.
2. Support Learning with iPad, personal learning devices, SLS, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and Apple Classroom.
3. Develop EdTech, gamification and AR/VR activities; maintain IT tools/software and conduct workshops for Project Work.
4. Provide AV training and event support, maintain PA systems and support OBS streaming.
5. Support video production, including Final Cut Pro and use of the Recording Studio.
6. Conduct makerspace workshops, maintain equipment and guide students.
7. Train teachers in EdTech and co-teach lower-secondary Project Work involving coding and Design Thinking.
8. Perform other assigned ICT dutyS.
