Qualifications

• Erfarenhet av att definiera och implementera teststrategier för distribuerade, molnbaserade plattformar.
• Stark kompetens inom teststrategi, testarkitektur och riskbaserad testning.
• Erfarenhet av enhet-, komponent-, API-, kontrakt-, integration-, system- och end-to-end-testning.
• Erfarenhet av testautomation och CI/CD-pipeline-integration.
• Förståelse för icke-funktionella tester, inklusive prestanda, motståndskraft, säkerhet och efterlevnad.
• Kunskap om observabilitet, loggning, metrik, distribuerad spårning och diagnostics.

Responsabilités

• Definiera hur produkter och professionella tjänster bör testas genom produktutvecklings- och kundleveranscykeln vid migrering till ny teknologiplattform.
• Samarbeta med arkitekter, DevOps, Produktteam, Professional Services, OEM-kunder och leverantörer för att etablera tydliga teststandarder och ansvar.
• Vidareutveckla testbarhet och möjliggöra pålitlig automatiserad testing över flera testnivåer.
• Skapa en praktisk teststrategi som ligger i linje med den nya cloud-native plattformen och DevOps-modellen.
• Bygga och implementera testautomation samt CI/CD-integration och automatiserade kvalitetsskydd.
• Definiera ägarskap och ansvarsgränser mellan produktutveckling och kundspecifik leverans.
• Etablera end-to-end testning över produkter, tjänster, kundkonfigurationer och externa integrationer.

We’re Hiring: Senior Test Strategy Consultant – Cloud-Native Platforms & Test Automation (1-2 Year Fixed Term Employment)

Hykmann Global Business Solutions AB is looking for an experienced Senior Test Strategy Consultant for a challenging consulting assignment focused on platform migration, product quality, test architecture, and end-to-end test automation.

We are seeking a hands-on testing expert who can define and implement a practical test strategy for modern, distributed, cloud-native platforms. The ideal candidate combines strategic quality assurance expertise with strong technical capabilities in test automation, CI/CD integration, non-functional testing, and customer-delivery validation.

About the Role

You will define how products and professional services should be tested throughout the product development and customer-delivery lifecycle as part of a migration to a new technology platform.

Working closely with architects, DevOps engineers, Product teams, Professional Services, OEM customers, and suppliers, you will establish clear testing standards, define ownership and responsibilities, improve testability, and enable reliable automated testing across multiple test levels.

This is a hands-on consulting role that combines test strategy, technical implementation, stakeholder alignment, and coaching to establish sustainable quality practices across the organization.

Define and implement a practical test strategy aligned with the new cloud-native technology platform and DevOps operating model.

Establish appropriate test levels, including unit, component, API, contract, integration, system, non-functional, and end-to-end testing.

Define non-functional requirement (NFR) testability requirements to ensure products are observable, diagnosable, automatable, and reliable.

Work directly with architects and DevOps teams to implement test automation, CI/CD integration, and automated quality gates.

Define testing ownership and responsibility boundaries between product development and customer-specific delivery.

Establish end-to-end testing across products, professional services, customer configurations, external integrations, and critical business workflows.

Define standards for test data, test environments, observability, diagnostics, test isolation, and test-result reporting.

Establish approaches for regression, smoke, negative, performance, resilience, security, contract, and production-verification testing.

Assess existing products to identify testability gaps, technical risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.

Develop automated test suites and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.

Recommend suitable tools and approaches for automated execution, reporting, and end-to-end traceability.

Create clear testing guidance and onboarding materials for developers, DevOps teams, OEM customers, customer test teams, and suppliers.

Coach engineering and delivery teams to adopt, implement, and maintain the test strategy.

Skills & requirements

Extensive hands-on experience defining and implementing test strategies for distributed, cloud-native, or service-oriented platforms.

Strong expertise in test strategy, test architecture, and risk-based testing.

Experience with unit, component, API, contract, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.

Proven experience in test automation and CI/CD pipeline integration.

Strong understanding of non-functional testing, including performance, resilience, security, and compliance.

Experience defining testability requirements, quality gates, and measurable quality criteria.

Knowledge of observability practices, including logging, metrics, distributed tracing, correlation IDs, and diagnostics.

Experience with test data management, anonymization, isolation, and cleanup.

Familiarity with test environments, service virtualization, mocks, stubs, and disposable infrastructure.

Experience with cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, APIs, databases, and asynchronous messaging.

Experience supporting platform migrations, modernization initiatives, or technology transformation programmes.

Knowledge of BDD/Gherkin, test pyramids, test quadrants, and risk-based testing.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across architecture, engineering, product, customer-delivery, and supplier teams.

Preferred / Bonus Experience

Familiarity with WirelessCar's new technology platform, including development, deployment, observability, and operational capabilities.

Experience in automotive software, connected products, IoT, or event-driven systems.

Knowledge of ASPICE, GDPR, cybersecurity, and production-safe testing practices.

Experience establishing shared testing standards and onboarding practices across internal teams, OEM customers, and external suppliers.

Documented NFR testability requirements across relevant test levels.

A comprehensive test strategy defining test levels, ownership, responsibilities, quality gates, and recommended tooling.

A working automated test suite integrated into the CI/CD pipeline.

Validated end-to-end customer-delivery flows covering configurations, integrations, external systems, and key business journeys.

A responsibility and onboarding matrix, supported by practical testing guidance for DevOps teams, OEM customers, and suppliers.
