Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Gothenburg, Sweden, is seeking a Wire Harness Engineer to join their Mechanical & Physical engineering team. This role involves developing products from concept to serial production and creating circuit diagrams and 3D models for commercial vehicles.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive engineering or similar field.
• Experience as a wiring harness designer, minimum 2 years.
• Experience in CATIA V5 and/or CREO and/or Saber Harness.

• Develop products from concept stage to introduction into serial production.
• Create circuit diagrams and 3D models for commercial vehicles.
• Perform digital and physical test assemblies, create assembly instructions.

Your role

You will join the Mechanical & Physical engineering team in Gothenburg and work as a wire harness engineer towards our Automotive clients. As a consultant you will apply your experiences and knowledge in order to help our clients accelerate their product development and reach set goals.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Being responsible for developing your products from concept stage to introduction into serial production.
• Creating circuit diagrams and 3D models for commercial vehicles, perform digital and physical test assemblies, create assembly instructions and handle deviations in production.
• You will have the opportunity to work with several projects in parallel, ranging from new product development to maintenance and updates.

Your profile

• Degree in Mechanical-, Electrical-, Automotive engineering or similar field.
• Excellent English writing and verbal skills, Swedish is meritorious.
• Experience as a wiring harness designer, min 2 years.
• Experience in CATIA V5 and/or CREO and/or Saber Harness.
