Job summary

AAK Malmö is seeking a Business Development & Project Leader to drive West Africa initiatives, coordinating sourcing, trading and sustainability programs. Based in Malmö with frequent travel to West Africa, you will report to the Head of Corporate Strategy and influence strategic direction across functions.

The role requires a Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) and 3–7 years in strategy consulting, project management, or business development, with fluency in English and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) required.
• 3–7 years of experience in strategy, project management, or business development.
• Experience in international or emerging markets preferred.
• Proven ability to lead multi-stakeholder strategic projects from initiation to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Strategic project leadership across West Africa, coordinating with local and regional teams.
• Manage complex strategic projects, track milestones, assess risks, and report to senior leadership.
• Build market insights, assess crop size, market developments, and supply-demand dynamics.
• Develop governance frameworks, structured project plans, and cross-functional coordination across functions and countries.
• Prepare executive presentations, strategy papers, and decision documents for leadership.
