Prysmian Group seeks a Warehouse Manager for its Nässjö, Sweden plant. You will lead all warehouse and internal logistics, ensuring safe, efficient material flow to production and customer delivery.

You will drive operational excellence, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement, while developing the warehouse team and aligning with Supply Chain strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in warehouse/logistics within manufacturing.
  • Experience leading teams in an industrial environment; union experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP, and WMS.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, packing and shipping.
  • Ensure uninterrupted material supply to production lines and on-time deliveries.
  • Optimize space, storage strategies and material flow; 6S and Lean initiatives.
  • Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics with transport providers and partners.
  • Maintain high inventory accuracy with stock control and cycle counts.

Job description

We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our plant in Nässjö, Sweden. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for leading all warehouse and internal logistics operations within the cable manufacturing plant.In this role, you will ensure the safe, efficient and cost-effective flow of raw materials, packaging materials, semi-finished products and finished goods to support production and customer delivery requirements. You will drive operational excellence, inventory accuracy, safety compliance and continuous improvement initiatives, while leading and developing the warehouse team.Your main responsibilities will include:Managing daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, material handling, picking, packing and shipping.Ensuring uninterrupted material supply to production lines and supporting customer delivery performance.Optimizing warehouse space utilization, storage strategies and material flow.Coordinating inbound and outbound logistics activities with transportation providers and logistics partners.Ensuring high inventory accuracy through stock control practices, cycle counting programs and accurate inventory records in SAP.Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, while minimizing stock losses, obsolescence and material damage.Supporting workforce planning, training, succession planning and employee engagement within the warehouse team.Ensuring compliance with Swedish regulations, company policies and HSE standards.Driving Lean Manufacturing, Lean Logistics, 6S and operational excellence initiatives.Collaborating closely with Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality and Customer Service teams.You are the right fit if you have/are:Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and verbal.A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
