Job summary

Maandag Nordic is seeking a Warehouse Engineer / Material Engineer for monitoring and controlling materials used in a major Stockholm infrastructure project. The role reports to the Site Manager and engages with installation partners, project teams, and the purchasing organization.

The position involves on-site and office work across multiple Stockholm sites, focusing on preventing material shortages and ensuring accurate material registers and timely deliveries through the HUB and partner

Responsibilities

• Cross-check inventory from supplier, client containers, and service vehicles.
• Create an overview of remaining material requirements with the Site Manager.
• Maintain registers of current, damaged, lost, and remaining materials in the HUB.
• Investigate deviations and identify root causes.
• Report deviations and needs to Site Manager, Project Manager and procurement.
• Coordinate with partner and lead/facilitate meetings for accurate material control.
• Support SAT activities and ensure installations meet Yunex requirements.

Job description

Warehouse engineer / Material Engineer

Start: As soon as possible

Duration: 12 months plus possibility to extend

Location: Different sites around Stockholm

Our client is a global technology company delivering advanced solutions for large-scale infrastructure projects. As part of one of Sweden's most significant infrastructure developments, they are responsible for the installation, integration, and verification of critical electrical and technical systems within a major tunnel.

We are now looking for a Warehouse Engineer / Material Engineer for monitoring and keeping track of material used for this major infratstructure project.

The project is currently around 50% through the installation phase, with installation planned to continue into early 2028.

The role reports to the Site Manager on site in Stockholm and works closely with the local installation partner, our clients project team in Sweden and purchasing / project management which is based outside Sweden.

The material includes, but is not limited to, cameras, cabinets, loudspeakers, tunnel sensors, mounting brackets and other traffic/tunnel installation equipment.

Main responsibilities:

• Monitor and keep track of material that is missing, damaged, lost or no longer required.
• Compare actual installation needs with material available at the HUB and on site, ensuring production is not stopped due to material shortages.
• Compare inventory from the supplier warehouse, client containers, installation partner containers and service vehicles.
• Establish an overview of remaining material requirements together with the Site Manager.
• Maintain accurate registers of current, damaged, lost compared with remaining materials in the HUB.
• Identify and investigate deviations and assess whether they are related to client, installation partner or other causes.
• Report material deviations and requirements to the Site Manager and the Project Manager and purchasing organization.
• Cooperate with partner and lead/facilitate meetings to ensure accurate material control and follow-up.
• You will be part of the Yunex site team and may also support the Site Manager with SAT1 follow-up. This includes supporting the installation partner in identifying and preventing faulty installations, following up deviations and helping ensure that installations meet Yunex requirements so that integration and subsequent SAT2 can proceed smoothly.
