Job summary

Kanthal, part of the Alleima Group, seeks a Vice President and Head of Strategy, M&A and Sustainability to shape the division’s strategic agenda. Based in Stockholm, Hallstahammar or Sandviken, the role oversees strategy development, M&A activity, and sustainability across an international footprint.

You will lead a small team, report to the President, and collaborate with Kanthal Division Management and stakeholders across Alleima. Strong English skills are required; Swedish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Senior leader with a strong strategic foundation and track record creating business value in complex international environments.
• Experience in strategy development and execution, business transformation, market analysis and M&A.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Swedish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Division’s strategy process and act as trusted advisor to President and BU Management.
• Lead and develop the Strategy, M&A and Sustainability team.
• Drive strategic initiatives to strengthen market position, profitability and long-term competitiveness.
• Coordinate annual strategic planning with analyses, scenario planning, portfolio reviews and recommendations.
• Develop business intelligence capabilities covering market, competitor, technology and macro insights.
• Lead the M&A agenda from identification to due diligence and integration planning.
• Build a proactive acquisition pipeline aligned with strategic priorities.
• Ensure sustainability considerations are integrated into strategy and investments.
• Initiate and lead strategic projects supporting divisional and BU priorities.
