Job summary

RaySearch Laboratories is seeking a Verification and Validation Manager for RayCare in Stockholm. You will lead V&V activities across agile teams, shaping the testing strategy and ensuring regulatory alignment.

Strong focus on automation and effective collaboration with clinical and technical stakeholders is essential. The role requires 5+ years in V&V management in software and excellent English and Swedish communication.

Qualifications

About The Position

RayCare is an innovative oncology information system designed to support clinical workflows at cancer clinics. It is developed by multiple agile teams working closely together, with expertise spanning clinical workflows, integrations, and system architecture. We develop our products in close collaboration with leading cancer clinics worldwide.

Your main tasks

• Develop, own, and continuously evolve the Verification and Validation strategy for RayCare releases.
• Lead the associated V&V activities in accordance with RaySearch development and risk management processes, using a risk-based and lifecycle-oriented approach that supports product quality and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure fit-for-purpose test environments, test tools, and ways of working that enable teams to implement the Verification and Validation strategy effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement of V&V execution, with a particular focus on increased automation.
• Create compliant V&V documentation, including test specifications, reports, and V&V summaries.

Your profile

We believe that you have a background as a verification and validation manager or a similar leading role within software testing. You are pragmatic in your approach and able to structure and prioritize work in a dynamic environment. You enjoy solving problems as they arise and take initiative to improve ways of working— - especially when it comes to automation and efficiency. You are comfortable coordinating across with teams and stakeholders and have strong communication skills.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc degree in engineering, or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in verification and validation management within software development
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills (English and Swedish)

Meriting

• Strong experience driving test automation and working with system integrations in complex environments
• Experience coordinating validation usability testing and working within agile development methodologies
• Background in the MedTech industry, with hands-on experience applying AI-driven and agentic testing approaches
