Job summary

RaySearch Laboratories in Stockholm is seeking an Application & Physics Specialist with clinical background to train and support clinics in the Nordic region.

You will promote RayStation at client sites, in Stockholm, online webinars, and conferences, while developing training materials and assisting with beam commissioning. Up to 25% travel within Europe is expected, and remote work from home offices in the Nordic region may be considered.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Nordic language skills (Swedish/Danish/Norwegian/Finnish) merit.
• BSc or MSc in medical physics, dosimetry, RTT or equivalent. Clinical radiotherapy experience meriting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, perform, and document product trainings for customers and distributors.
• Demonstrate RaySearch products at trade shows and onsite for prospective customers.
• Develop and maintain training materials (interactive e-learning, PPT, videos).
• Assist customers during beam commissioning and advise on measurement requirements.
• Collaborate with development through exploratory testing of new product versions.
• Travel up to 25% within Nordic region and Europe.

We prefer a candidate who can work from our headquarters in Stockholm. For a strong candidate we are however willing to consider work from a home office in Denmark, Norway or Finland.

About The Position

As an Application & Physics Specialist you will join a diverse and dedicated specialist group with clinical experience from different countries. The group is part of the global service organization responsible for the promotion, deployment and support of our products as well as the education of our customers.

The emphasis of the position will be on working with potential and current customers in the Nordic region to introduce them to our treatment planning system RayStation through demonstrations and training. This is done on client sites, in our training center in Stockholm, by webinars and at conferences.

Another core task is creating and maintaining training materials on various formats such as interactive e-learning courses, PPT presentations and videos for students.

For a candidate with medical physics competence, you will also play an important role in assisting our customers during the beam commissioning process, for example by creating beam models and advising them on measurement requirements.

Up to 25% travel is required, primarily within the Nordic region and Europe.

Your main tasks

• Planning, performing and documenting product trainings for customers and distributors

• Answering tenders and explain product functionality
• Collaborating with our development department through exploratory testing of new product versions
• Assisting and guiding customers during the beam commissioning process

Your introduction

When starting in this position, you will get a mentor and a solid introduction to our products and ways of working following a formal certification program. You will gradually take more responsibility and start working independently.

Experience & Skills

• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Swedish/Danish/Norwegian/Finnish skills are meriting
• BSc or MSc degree in medical physics/dosimetry/RTT or equivalent, medical physics is meriting
• Clinical experience in radiotherapy, especially proton therapy or brachytherapy, is meriting
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• Medical device industry experience is meriting
