Job summary

Combient Foundry is seeking a Venture Associate to support venture-client projects across Europe, working with experienced teams to identify needs, scout startups and prep pilots that deliver measurable results.

This hands-on entry point into corporate innovation is based in Helsinki, Stockholm or Munich, with collaboration across the Nordics, DACH and wider Europe. You’ll work with emerging technologies and turn ideas into action.

Qualifications

• University degree in a technology-oriented field is preferred.
• Experience in consulting, project management or corporate innovation is a plus.
• Passion for emerging technologies and industry collaboration.
• Strong analytical skills and structured thinking.
• Clear, confident communication in English.
• Demonstrated ownership and initiative in projects.
• Comfort working in an international, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Support venture-client projects from needs identification through startup scouting and pilot preparation.
• Help translate industrial and technical challenges into startup search criteria.

YOUR ROLE

As a Venture Associate, you'll support venture-client projects for some of Europe's leading industrial companies — working alongside experienced team members across the full cycle: identifying business and technical needs, scouting and evaluating startups, and helping prepare pilots that deliver measurable results.

This is a hands‑on entry point into corporate innovation and venture clienting — for someone who wants to understand complex industrial challenges, work with emerging technologies, and turn ideas into concrete action. Based in Helsinki, Stockholm or Munich, you'll work closely with colleagues and clients across the Nordics, DACH and the wider European ecosystem.

YOUR IMPACT

• Support venture-client projects from needs identification through startup scouting, evaluation and pilot preparation
• Help translate industrial and technical challenges into clear startup search and evaluation criteria
• Research emerging technologies, startups and market developments
• Support startup evaluation together with corporate stakeholders and subject-matter experts
• Coordinate with stakeholders across business units, procurement, legal and IT
• Prepare workshops, decision materials and project documentation

WHAT YOU BRING

• University degree, ideally with technology-oriented background — engineering, applied sciences, industrial technology or technical innovation are a plus.
• Experience in consulting, project management, corporate innovation or startup ecosystems is a plus — not a requirement.
• Passion for emerging technologies, industrial innovation or corporate–startup collaboration
• Strong analytical skills and structured thinking
• Clear, confident communication in English
• Performance and ownership mindset, willingness to take initiative to make our clients happy
