Job summary

SEGULA Technologies Sweden is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support truck integration at system level, covering the complete vehicle. The role is hands-on, combining electrical engineering knowledge with practical experience on vehicles, prototypes and test vehicles.

You will collaborate with development, production and test-track teams, reading schematics, wiring harnesses, sensors, ECUs and control systems, and helping modify systems for new functions and testing.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with vehicle wiring and electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Experience building, modifying, or installing wiring harnesses.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems using measurement equipment.
• Experience with sensors/ECUs/control systems in automotive electronics.
• Practical, solution‑oriented mindset.
• Strong communication and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on electrical work on prototype and test vehicles.
• Build, modify, install, and route vehicle wiring and cable harnesses.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Install and connect sensors, ECUs, control systems, and other electrical/electronic components.
• Modify vehicle electrical systems to support new functions and development activities.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using measurement and diagnostic equipment.
• Support rapid electrical modifications and troubleshooting during vehicle testing.
• Work closely with development engineers to implement and verify electrical solutions.
• Support both new vehicle platforms and modifications/maintenance of legacy platforms.
• Ensure electrical installations are correctly implemented and suitable for testing and verification.
• Work across development facilities, production sites, and test tracks.
