Job summary

Bertrandt Group in Gothenburg is seeking a Test Engineer to design, develop, operate, and maintain propulsion and vehicle dynamics test rigs in a full test environment, including HILs, VILs, boxcars, and vehicles.

You will enable CSIV testing for SPA2 and SPA3 platforms, continuously improve rig designs, ensure readiness of validation environments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute testing tasks and contribute to system integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Valid Category B driver’s license.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Valid work permit for Sweden.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, operate, and maintain propulsion and vehicle-dynamics test rigs in a full test environment (HILs, VILs, boxcars).
• Enable CSIV testing for SPA2 and SPA3 platforms.
• Continuously improve test rig designs and capabilities with minor enhancements.
• Ensure maintenance, stability, and readiness of test rigs and validation environments.
• Support development and lifecycle activities of rigs beyond propulsion and vehicle dynamics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute testing tasks.
• Contribute to integration/validation of system areas (HMI, Body, Connectivity, Core) in test environments.
