Job summary

Intrum Justitia in Stockholm is seeking a Senior Investment Analyst to lead a small team and drive portfolio analysis and valuation. Responsibilities include managing forecasting models, data processing, and ensuring quality outputs while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Senior Investment Analyst or a similar role.
• University degree with high marks in an analytical or financial subject (e.g., mathematics, statistics, economics).
• Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in R, SQL, and other programming languages is welcome.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Statistical experience in dealing with large data sets and data modelling techniques.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure minimal errors in portfolio valuations.
• Highly numerate, quick learner, and able to solve problems quickly.
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with different levels of customers and stakeholders.
• Ability and flexibility to work under a pressurised working environment.
• Capacity to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑motivated, enthusiastic, and keen to learn and develop.
• Willingness to go the extra mile to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of analysts to ensure knowledge transfer and business objectives are met.
• Run Forecasting and Pricing Models including Sensitivities and interpretation of the results.
• Data processing, manipulation, analysis, presentation and interpretation of the financial portfolio’s characteristics.
• Support and compile portfolio Investment Memorandums (IMs).
• Support portfolio valuations across different jurisdictions.
• Develop and maintain tools, models and materials to enhance portfolio analysis and valuation.
• Ensure good quality outputs, fit for purpose, and excellent communication with stakeholders.
• Perform all other ad‑hoc tasks delegated by the Senior Underwriting Manager.
