Role: Service Training Engineer based in Stockholm, Sweden (full-time)

As a Service Training Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering comprehensive Onboard- and Trackside training programs for our customers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively and cost efficiently maintain their assets.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs of our customers.
  • Create engaging training materials and hands-on training sessions.
  • Manage engineering team involved in the content of training materials.
  • Conduct training sessions, both at Alstom premises and at customer sites, including both theoretical and practical training where safety awareness is essential.
  • Assess and evaluate training effectiveness, making continuous improvements to training content and delivery methods.
  • Manage delivery of training elements during tender and project phase.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and innovations to incorporate into training initiatives.
  • The role includes travelling within Sweden, and also in some cases aboard.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in technical training is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and service operations.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.
  • Fluent English & Swedish is mandatory
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Experience of the Swedish railway signaling market and customers (desirable)
