Job summary

Renasens AB is looking for a skilled Textile / Fiber Processing Engineer to lead the mechanical separation and fiber recovery workstream in Borås. The successful candidate will manage the cotton pre-treatment and dye removal process, ensuring high-quality results through hands-on experiment design and data analysis.

This role requires a MSc or PhD in physical chemistry or chemical engineering and industry experience. Benefits include a wellness allowance, pension scheme, and 30 days of vacation.

Qualifications

• Required industry experience in physical chemistry or chemical engineering.
• Comfortable with lab experiments and process development.
• Experience in cellulose, dyes, or extraction processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of cotton pre-treatment and dye removal development.
• Design and execute lab-scale experiments.
• Analyze and report data for scale-up decisions.
• Refine experimental protocols and maintain a clean lab environment.

Skills

Hands-on lab experience

Experimental design skills

Data analysis and statistical software (Python, MATLAB, JMP)

Understanding of solvation thermodynamics
