Job summary

SEB group is looking for a Test Lead in Solna kommun, Sweden. In this role, you will develop and maintain a test strategy that aligns with organizational goals and Agile principles. This includes collaborating with Tribe Leads and Product Owners to ensure uniform testing practices, as well as driving test automation strategies and monitoring quality metrics.

About the role:

As a Test Lead, you will develop and maintain a test strategy aligned with organizational goals and Agile principles. You will collaborate with Tribe Leads, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure uniform testing practices and share best practices cross‑tribe. Your responsibilities include establishing and enforcing testing standards and methodologies, driving test automation strategies, and leading initiatives to improve testing processes and tools including AI. Additionally, you will oversee the selection and deployment of testing tools to meet cross‑tribe needs, provide updates on testing activities to tribe management, and monitor key quality metrics to implement corrective actions as necessary. Leading and mentoring a community of testers to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement will be crucial to your success. We also expect the Test Lead to be hands‑on, actively participating in the testing process and contributing directly to the team's efforts.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

• Experience in developing and maintaining test strategies, with a focus on aligning with organisational goals
• Proficiency in cross‑tribe collaboration, including effective communication and coordination with Tribe Leads, Product Owners and other stakeholders
• A strong curiosity about AI, with initial experience and a clear ambition to continuously explore and deepen your knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of testing standards and methodologies
• Advanced skills in manual testing and test automation
• Experience with selecting and deploying testing tools and frameworks
• Expertise in test planning and quality assurance
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (SAFe)
• Leadership and mentoring abilities
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Experience in finance regulatory reporting is meritorious
